Matt joined the Tenant Representation Division at Newcor in 2018. During Matt’s tenure as an engineer and entrepreneur in Houston’s oil and gas industry, he has witnessed firsthand how important commercial real estate trends are to the market’s success. Matt’s experience in oil and gas is diverse; he’s worked effectively on business operations and facility management for many major corporations. Matt understands tenants’ needs and concerns because he’s worked first-hand from the tenant perspective of commercial real estate for many years. From managing operations, to specifying requirements, and ensuring they are properly carried out, Matt sees commercial space from the client’s perspective.
Matt’s creativity and expertise in business allows him to approach tenants with their company’s success in mind. He has also worked in residential real estate: from leasing, renovating, and flipping houses in the Greater Houston area. Matt has a solid background in construction, which further lends itself to his pragmatic approach to commercial real estate transactions.
Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University. He was involved in multiple organizations, and he served as President of the Texas A&M chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
Matt lives in Conroe, TX with his wife, Chrisoula. They are members of the Woodlands Church. When they're not spending time with family and friends, or walking their two dogs, they're watching Aggie football and the Houston Astros. Matt also enjoys hunting, fishing, motorsports, and anything outdoors.
